[blparent] Help please... Potty training.

Hi Jo and all,
As I mentioned in another my biological  daughter whom I don't have parental rights to at any longer. More about that in a different post. 
She is now eighteen and half months old and a few months ago she startled showing interest in beginning the potty trainning process. So it just depends on the age of the child involved and if there are any other physical problems.

It's quite young to start, in my opinion.  I bought a video from Amazon 
called "Go Potty Go!" when my daughter was that age, with catchy, silly 
songs and stories to introduce the idea.  But I didn't push the issue, and 
when she was ready to train by her own choice at three and a half, it took 
ten days an half a package of pull-ups, and then only one or two more 
accidents after that ever, and none at night.  So I'm a firm believer in not 
starting too soon.  Good luck.

Hi,

my husband and I have two daughters. The older one is almost 22 months, and 
the younger one is almost 3 months. The 22-month-old is learning how to use 
the potty. I know this topic has probably been talked about before but we 
would appreciate all suggestions.
