Oh no, I went for three weeks long before I had a child.  If something 
happens to my current guide, I probably won't go get another till my 
daughter is older.  I just don't travel as much as I used to now that I 
started working from home.

you were able to go home on weekends too? Which one did you go to? Oh,
goodness, I don't know about not calling at bed time. True that it would
make it harder on the kids, but there's no way I could handle it. That's
awesome that you did and I like the sucker idea. How many weeks did you have
to train?

I had to leave my daughter for five nights when she was nearly three.  I'll
say this much; she did better with it than I did.  The best advice I got was
to not call her at bedtime, when all she had to do was miss me after she got
off the phone.  I also left five suckers, one for each day, so she could see
how many days there were till I returned.  Good luck!

I'm in Australia and that's what my school does.  I know you cant tell me
because you don't know me, but I guess I just need reassurance that my 2 yo
will be ok after not seeing me all week.
