[blparent] shoes

[Star Gazer]

A shoe basket, I need to get us one of these. We just keep our shoes ina
pile and somehow they manage to separate and get all over the landing. 
What type of basket do you use, like a laundry basket?

I also agree no shoes until they are walking is best.  
We have a shoe basket right inside our front door so as we walk into the
house we all take our shoes off and place them in the basket.  I always know
where the shoes are and they are out of the middle of the floor so I don't
trip on them. This works most of the time but there are always a few times a
week that the shoes don't gety put in the basket so as I'm cleaning up I put
them in the basket.  When my kids weren't old enough to take care of their
own shoes I would take them off for them when we got home.
