[blparent] Newbie Introduction

Hi all, I did try the baby carriers at the store with a live squirming baby! My baby did not appreciate being bundled in and out of carrier after carrier and paraded around the store. She would just decide that she liked one and then I would feel unsure and try another one. I settled with the ergo and I really like it! My baby likes the ergo carrier as well!

It would make sense to try some on at a baby store and get hands-on experience taking them off and putting them on, if possible with a live squirming baby, before buying one. I realize that might be too much to ask, but at least try them with a doll first.

League, that it is not good for baby to be on your side in that though. Not really sure why. I know that they also feel negative about the Bjorn. Not adding any opinions here, just providing info. I think I heard that the new ones are also 30 or $60 more expensive. Just to wear your baby on the side, to me is not worth it.
