[blparent] police called

Wow, so sorry to hear scary stories like that.
I can reassure you, with our kids grown now, that we had no issues with
social workers or police.
I do recall one time, however, a lady officer did approach us, was very
polite and asked if we needed any assistance. I thanked her, said we were
fine, and that was all there was to it. I didn't think anything about it at
the time, as we had just moved to the area, and I could have easily been
looking for an unknown location. In that case, I would have definitely
asked assistance.
Our kids' friends' parents were actually fine with letting their kids be at
our house, and vice-versa.
That concern that we might face discrimination as parents was in the back of
our minds, but didn't rule us. Sometimes, you can't let your mind go to
fearful places, just be aware and not let it rule your life.
If the kids are well-dressed, clean, cared-for, chances are there won't be
any problems.
Judy

Oh my gosh! It didn't even occur to me that the priest could be called when
I'm walking down the street with my daughter! Frankly, excuse my French,
that scares the hell out of me! I may not have been on this list when you're
told that story, what happened?
LOL! I'm feeding my daughter right now and dictating. That was supposed to
say the priest not the priest. Police
