Oh, also, the importance of reading aloud to your kids cannot be overstated. If you aren't signed up with the National Library Service, get signed up. If you read braille, start having age-appropriate books delivered to your house so you can read to your children. If you don't read braille, get talking books. There are multitudes of studies proving that kids who are read to while young do better in school and in life overall than kids who are not.

I got my daughter something like this when she was three or four.

https://www.amazon.com/LeapFrog-Fridge-Phonics-Magnetic-Letter/dp/B00JLHVX36/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1518470327&sr=1-1-spons&keywords=Fridge+Phonics&psc=1

I also had alphabet puzzles with each letter cut out individually, and braille and print on each letter so I could do the puzzles with my daughter, but the Fridge Phonics toy was a big hit because of the musical component. Songs in learning can't be underestimated

Hi! For those of you use Braille and cannot see to read print, how have you taught your children to read and write? My oldest will be turning for the summer and I’d like to start working with her.
