[blparent] Request for solutions to support my school-age children with school and homework

Hi, listers.

I have two daughters who are now six and nine and very busy with
school. My questions are probably those of every parent, but I'm
curious what the list might say about them:
Can anyone suggest a good way for all of us to tell time? I can check
it on my phone or ask Alexa, but I haven't found anything I can help
them set the time or an alarm on. The kids are sighted, I'm blind, and
I haven't come up with some solutions to tell time, and show how
quickly it's going by, that work for all of us. (It would make getting
ready for school in the morning a little easier, possibly.) How easy
would it be for me to help my nine-year-old set up an Apple watch if I
got her one?

Also, what are your suggestions for dealing with all the paper they
come home with? I love going through it and trying to keep some of
their art or their stories, if possible. But there's just so much ...
