Hello Miso- Yes, it is doable to travel independently in the Los Angeles
area. Paratransit is an option however public transportation is doable. Plan
your routes, look at the time it would take on public transportation vs.
paratransit and go from there. If you need assistance with this process,
please let me know.

Subject: [Cabs-talk] Traveling Independently in Southern California

Hello everyone,
This is a rather random question, but I would like to know...
Do you think Southern California (mainly Los Angeles and a bit of inland
area and Orange County area) is accessible for blind travelers mostly using
public transportation?
Is it something doable and reliable ?
Or is using Access Services necessary for efficiency?
Would it be possible to independently (with safety and efficiency) travel
without riding the Access?
Miso Kwak
