I have a conflict meeting tomorrow and cannot be at the NFB meeting. I have
a list of items below to be considered for the Gabel Report. Wish I could be
there, but this other meeting is a must. If any clarification is needed I
will be available on Saturday until noon before my other meeting.

                Since the last Gabel Report:

1.	Advocating with the USDOJ to end denial of medical service due to
blindness with no access to required paperwork 
2.	Advocating with insurance company and contract holder for equal
access to required paperwork that must be filled out
3.	Advocating when shopping assistance is denied when needed, both in
store or by kiosk
4.	Advocating during The NFB Ohio Legislative Seminar

Volunteering to manage membership records for an organization with vision
disabled members

5.	Volunteering to work with additional I T departments for website
accessibility
6.	testing the new Echo Vision glasses,
7.	Helping to get legal assistance needed for a friend with declining
vision 
8.	Assisting to help find meeting places on bus lines for groups of
members with vision loss
9.	Arranging trips with meaningful access for groups of members with
vision loss
10.	Helping with fundraising for groups containing members with vision
loss
11.	Donating money to groups of members who have vision loss, especially
those containing young people
12.	Attending national legislative meetings 
13.	Attending meetings about upcoming I phone updates & accessibility
14.	Providing paid work for people both with no disability & non visual
disabilities thus demonstrating how a person with visual loss is
successfully working
15.	Assisting contractors with the writing of accessible contracts
16.	Continuing to work with HUD for accessible communication between
managers, banks or mortgage companies and those with vision loss whether
tenants or owners (We did have 'a win' in the last hearing.)
