Hi,

 

The next opportunity  for us to take the food handlers test is on Thursday,
11 June. 

It is a bit confusing, but the test is online  with selecting the answers
via a touch screen. It is multiple choice and the  answer is selected by
touching a choice on the screen. Therefore if the test taker cannot read the
screen he/hse will need a reader.  Apparently the physical setup of the room
where the test is taken only allows 4 test takers who are blind at a time.

 

Sighted takers can schedule their time between 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM.
Apparently as long as you start before 3:00. Sighted takers cannot take the
exam on Thursday.

 I will be receiving the web sites for the study material and  the
application to take the exam and will pass it onto you.

When you are ready to take the exam,  after scheduling your time, take the
filled out application and $10 down to the health dept. (will pass the
address on when it comes with the web sites).

As to the alcohol class. It is held on 13 June from 11 to 1:30.At the
amphitheater. I need to know soon how many can take it on that day. There
are other classes available on other days. Not sure where or how to make
contact, but will find out.
