I urge as many blind & disabled people as possible to attend these meetings, 
to let our presence be known -- and felt. One of our biggest issues that is 
easily recognizable is, TRANSPORTATION. Let's make sure that item on next 
year's budget is not shrunk, but enlarged. Please don't take this lightly. 
You are your best own advocate. Transportation needs to grow & improve in 
this town. The details of the next 2 Town Hall Meetings with Colorado

[Colorado Springs] Mayor Steve Bach will be hosting a Town Hall meeting at 
Timberview Middle School (8680 Scarborough Dr.) from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on 
Wednesday,  August 1, 2012.  He encourages everyone to be there, to discuss 
with him and other City officials the challenges and opportunities within 
Colorado Springs.  Chief of Staff Laura Neumann will join the Mayor to talk 
about our 2013 budget and more.

"This is an opportunity for our great citizens to weigh in on next year's 
budget.  We would like to hear from folks about what they think our 
[priorities] are," said Mayor Bach.

The Mayor's next Town Hall meeting will be at Eagleview Middle School on 
October 24, 2012.
