Theresa, thank you for keeping us all informed. This information is so important and valuable to all of us and our well-being. My question to you is this, do we need to sign up ahead of time to be part of the conversation and provide testimony? Thanks again for all of your good work! Kind regards, Claudia.

Hello friends,

Included are links in this document to other Bills and Rules that directly impact NFBCO.

This is a document our Legislative Policy Advisor put together to provide easy access to Bills and Rules that directly impact the NFBCO

Technology Accessibility Advisory Board Legislative Update, April 18.

Here is information on a hearing for Monday:

HB24-1454, Grace Period for Noncompliance of Digital Accessibility. The bill as written establishes some requirements that a public entity would need to meet in order to qualify for a temporary grace period of immunity from liability for failure to comply with HB21-1110 and OIT's accessibility rules. OIT does not have authorization to take a position on this bill at this time. However, you're welcome to take a look at the bill, and there is a hearing scheduled on Monday, April 22, at 1:30 pm with the House State, Civic, Military & Veterans Affairs Committee where you can listen to the proceedings or testify."
