Hello! This is Cynde Vaughn & Roberto Cabrera, your DeafBlind Action Team meeting facilitators!

 

The next DeafBlind Action Team meeting will be held on Saturday, 4/27/2024 with a start time of 10 A.M. and early sign-in available beginning at 9:30 A.M.  for any participant to allow time for assistive technology & communication access setup.   Be on the lookout for the invite with the meeting link coming in the next few days.

Information for people asking you what is the DeafBlind Action Team? This is an independent forum for the DeafBlind community & stakeholders to meet and continue our discussion about current Colorado DeafBlind issues including the underfunded SSP program,  the growing wait list for SSP services, and other unmet needs of the DeafBlind community. We are in the process of setting up workgroups to discuss priority topics and make recommendations for future solutions.  

 

This is a newly formed Colorado-based DeafBlind action-oriented team of stakeholders.  This action team is led by Colorado DeafBlind and supported by the Colorado Cross-Disabilities Coalition and other disability community partners.
