Hi Everyone! 

Please share these two upcoming opportunities! The email below has more details and flyers attached. 

The focus group this Thursday at the Longmont office is for consumers, and the second opportunity is for consumers and staff are welcome to attend as well! 

Longmont Transportation Mobility Plan (TMP) Focus Group: 

During this focus group, we will have the opportunity to provide feedback on specific locations needing transportation infrastructure improvements, fostering a more inclusive community for individuals with mobility challenges across all modes of travel.

Boulder Public Safety Listening Session 

The City of Boulder's Independent Police Monitor, along with the Boulder Police and Fire Departments, want to hear directly from community members living with disabilities. We understand that when emergencies occur and first responders are called, the situations can feel very stressful, especially for those living with disabilities. We know it is crucial to listen directly to members of the disability community to better understand experiences and worries when dealing with first responders. Our goal is to provide better support and assistance in the most respectful and inclusive way possible. Your insights are so valuable to us!

Longmont Transportation Mobility Plan (TMP) Focus Group

The City of Longmont has initiated a year-long endeavor to formulate a Transportation Mobility Plan (TMP), aimed at shaping the future of transportation within the city. This comprehensive process will assess current transportation conditions and propose upgrades and enhancements to ensure safe and accessible options for pedestrians, cyclists, and transit users while maintaining overall transportation system safety and upkeep.

Central to the Longmont TMP is robust public engagement, seeking input to understand existing transportation challenges, establish a vision for equitable and safe transportation, and align with sustainability objectives. Through inclusive community involvement and data-driven analysis, the plan will prioritize future transportation projects, policies, and programs. The city seeks community input to develop policies ensuring infrastructure accessibility for all ages and abilities, focusing on Universal Design, sidewalk, and crosswalk prioritization.

During this focus group, we will have the opportunity to provide feedback on specific locations needing transportation infrastructure improvements, fostering a more inclusive community for individuals with mobility challenges across all modes of travel.
