[Colorado-Talk] Gemini- Google AI is interactive

Hi Tim,

I received several questions from my post and on the processor used for this monster and availability.

I asked my Google team and for all of you nerds out there, here are the answers. When I say “nerds” I mean that in the most respectful way and from my heart.  😊

Google trained Gemini 1.0 on the Google AI-optimized infrastructure using Google’s in-house designed Tensor Processing Units (TPUs) v4 and v5e. 

On availability, Gemini 1.0 started rolling out last month in certain products and platforms:

*  Bard now uses a fine-tuned version of Gemini Pro for more advanced reasoning, planning, understanding and more. *  The Google Pixel 8 Pro runs Gemini Nano, which is powering new features and messaging apps.

*  Last month, developers and enterprise customers started having access to Gemini Pro via the Gemini API in Google AI Studio or Google Cloud Vertex AI.

Thanks for the share. Pretty impressive. If it can put together all these types of data and find patterns and make predictions, it will have all kinds of applications.

I  am the Senior Accessibility Architect for the state of Colorado.

I manage the Google team for accessibility.  I am sharing a 6 minute video showcasing  "Gemini AI" video for your viewing pleasure.
