Hi all,
  Chris posted  a very  interesting topic that had me thinking a little bit.
 A couple of days   later, I was going through some messages from  a
while back, and found one from  a friend of mine who works at the
americorps campus I worked out  of. She had  passed along a link to me
related to   disaster  prep and  responce and I wanted to share it.

resources,
      including Fema programs and local emergency management centers.
There is a
     website link followed by a descriptive paragraph.

DISABILITY & EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS RESOURCES:  N.O.D.'s Emergency
Preparedness Initative (EPI) has available an interactive map of
federal,
regional, state, and local disability-related emergency management
resources.
The map houses information on your regional branch of FEMA and ADA&IT
Technical Assistance Centers, and state disability resource agencies, a
directory of ILCs and SILCs within your sta
te, your state Citizen Corps
and
American Red Cross Chapters, as well as links to your state and local
Emergency
Management Agencies. The map also includes a list of federal disability
and
emergency preparedness resources, including government agencies and
non-profit
organizations.
