Greater New Haven Transit [My Ride] is horrible with their scheduling. I
use the Greater Bridgeport Transit to go from Stratford to Milford Hospital
and then My Ride from Milford Hospital to work in New Haven. My Ride has
caused me to miss my conections coming home too many times. Then
Bridgeport Transet goes over to the answering machine at 4:30 pm which is my pick
up time at Milford Hospital coming home. So you leave a message and no one
calls you back from Bridgeport transit and you are stuck.

Bridgeport Transit is very good getting me to Milford Hospital, but My Ride
has picked me up up to 1 1/2 hours late going to work. So I have at times
spent more time on a bus or waiting for a bus then I have spent at my job.
You don't get paid waiting for a bus!

Hi fellow NFB members,
I am currently working with BESBE to secure employment and would have to
use Paratransit to get there. As many of you probably know Paratransit is
really giving drivers to tight a schedule to get many people where they need
to go on time. Do any of you have any advice for handling this with
employment obligations? Also it is my understanding there is no special rate for
daily users. Thank-you for your advice. Debbie Reed
