Hi Suzanne,

I hadn't responded earlier because I couldn't figure out how to send you a message directly without going to the whole mailing list.

But I did want to thank you for the info.

Hi, Janet. MS Office Professional does include Outlook but the format has still changed. I bought home and student version for my laptop and it had a three month trial. I just started using Windows Live Mail and although I like the older versions of Outlook, I can work this one and am learning the finer points as time passes.

I have found this discussion very interesting as I have been trying to figure out what to get as I need a new computer. I was thinking of getting a refurbished XP but have decided to go with what is out there now and XP won't be supported in a few years. I know I'll probably be somewhat unhappy at first, but as others have said, it takes getting used to and after a while it will feel more normal.

With regard to e-mail, I believe Office 2010 includes Outlook or Outlook Express.

I am using windows 7 and JAWS 12. There is a little learning curve, but I haven't run into any trouble.

      Hello Guys,

I am wondering if any of you are using Windows 7? If so, what are the advantages for us blind users? Any of you using WE7.5.1? I'm just trying to kill two birds with one stone.

      Thanks,
      Joe
