Good morning Elizabeth,

You should call your vocational counsler at BESB to inquire about the programs mentioned by Chris as well as anything else that might be available to help you “start over.”

There are centers where you can go away to learn better blindness skills and things available that a voc rehab counselor might not think necessary or relevant to your situation. There is no harm in running through the possibilities with your counselor though.

What may be appropriate can be related to your vocational goals. If your goal is to be a homemaker, programs like the vending program wouldn’t necessarily be brought up to you as an option.

I couldn’t find your email address on the last message so I’m replying to group but feel free to respond to me at swesthaver at comcast.net if you want to discuss further.

Have a good day.
