Subject: Access my Eye

Everyone is this FAIR?? What would you do??

Anne & I moved to handicapped housing here in Southington as you know, and its on the edge of the famous Apple Harvest Festival (75 feet from the apple fritter booth) but the Southington Housing Authority is taking my access away later today... Read on from my FB post last night.. This ISN'T SOUR GRAPES =Think about it--- the hype of moving close to the Apple Festival -- I might not even have access to the Fritter booth 200feet in front of my home Southington Housing Authority is blocking the ADA wheelchair access to the Abbey Municipal Parking Lot with a snowfence by the Ferris Wheel -- a little against the ADA rules but oh well guess litter is more important.. than the money they spent for the access.. Any Help politicos!! Just found out Thursday! Festival starts tonight.. The walkway is used to go downtown on a relatively flat surface instead of going down an extremely sharp hill.

The walkway goes directly to a handicap parking space though blocked for the festival. That can be lived with.

Just spoke with the Housing Director in my apartment according to him the Town Attorney just ruled they have the right to BREAK the Law, interesting, and that the fence is going up within an hour or 2. The confrontation is on.

Any ideas???
