Elizabeth,
My questions still have not been answered.
1. How will we get to our respective Good Will Store? Will vans be
provided?
2. How will the lumber be procured and who will staple the signs to the
lumber? Surly, you don't expect us to go out and shop for 4 foot pieces
of lumber and staple the signs to the 4ft of lumber. Some of us are
totally blind nor do we have significant others to assist us.
3. I have a good will store right on Town line Rd., right in back of
Stop&Shop. Is this our protest site?
4. Who is the site coordinator for our site.
5. Where is our site?
As time is getting short, please answer the above ASAP.
Thanks
Terry

All:
I received the following message from Jeanie Massay, the President of our
Oklahoma affiliate. She reports about Dorothy Robinson, a dedicated member
of the Federation, committed to making a difference in our fight for fair
wages. Let us all exhibit the same spirit.
Find your local Goodwill Thrift Store at: http://locator.goodwill.org/, and
get one of the attached Goodwill informational protest site registration
forms to me ASAP.

Anil,
Hi, hope this finds you happy and well.
I have a comment on one of our chapters regarding the upcoming Goodwill
protest. Dorothy Robinson, Chapter President of our south Central Oklahoma
Chapter contacted me today to inform me that there was no Goodwill Thrift
Store in her city. However, she also let me know that her chapter had all
agreed to take the flyers to each of the respective members churches to
distribute and educate their city about sub-minimum wages.
Dorothy also took it upon herself to find a chapter where she will be on the
weekend that we conduct the protest. Her son and daughter live in Arlington
TX. Dorothy contacted the Texas Affiliate to find the Arlington Chapter and
find out where she can help.
Dorothy is a fantastic example of practicing what we believe and preach I
hope to see her on the news in Texas!
