That attachment is a text document, but it has nothing to do with the content of the email that she sent.

Some people's email servers generate those, and I"m not 100% sure why, but I think it's extra information that is sent to the listserv that the listserv isolates into a text file.

Anyway, Lucia's email had a link in it to an online version of The Federationist in Connecticut.  Use that to read an online version.

Hi Lucia,

I wasn’t able to open this attachment. It seems to be in Notepad and for some reason didn’t work with my computer.  I do have a new computer which has been working very well.

I noticed that the attachment has a txt extension. Word documents have a doc extension.

We are currently working on tape duplicating and getting print copies ready to mail from the office. They should start going out sometime next week.
