Subject: Beep Kickball- a new sport

 

Hi NFB State President,

 

I would like to introduce you to a relatively new sport for children who are visually impaired or blind- Beep Kickball. It is played just like Beep Baseball but with a ten inch foam beeping kickball. Over 70 schools, camps and centers for the blind across the nation are now playing kickball. 

 

I will be in Orlando tomorrow and Thursday and would love to meet you- there will be three of us in our Carolina blue kickball t- shirts carrying a red ball! Check out this two minute CNN special on kickball and enjoy the convention!
