If you want to look it up, here is the citation that I used in a journal article which I am about to submit:

Omvig, J. H. (2002). Freedom for the blind: The secret is empowerment. Fayetteville, AR: Region VI Rehabilitation Continuing Education Program, University of Arkansas (Reprinted in 2005 by National Federation of the Blind, Baltimore, MD).
It's definitely worth reading if you have the time to read it. It talks about how to empower blind people to live the lives we want.
