Hello, fellow Federationists!
Tomorrow's the day, so a few reminders.
If you would like to practice voting with a phone keypad before going to the polls, call 888-661-6366. You will not need any kind of access code.
If you have any problems voting, a good person to contact in Connecticut is Elanah Sherman at the Office of Protection and Advocacy. Her phone number is 860-297-4322, and her e-mail is Elanah.Sherman at ct.gov.
Our national office has set up a voter hotline number, which is 877-632-1940. It will be available from 7:00 AM until 10:00 PM on November 8. If you encounter any barriers to voting privately and independently, please call and report it. There is also a hashtag, #BlindVoterExperience, on Twitter.
Finally, if you visit http://www.nfb.org you will find on the home page a What's New heading. Below that, you will find links to two surveys about experiences voting. Please choose the one that applies to your situation, and help us to gather data to use in present and future advocacy work.
Good luck tomorrow, and if I can help in any way, let me know.
Let's make our voices heard!
