Hello Jim

I'd jsut sent my reply out in regards to m yexperience to the voting which was a good one. As that said I'd also said in it as fo regards t oour new president which was a real big suprise to so many in all honesty.

As you are the legislative coordinator/director of our organization have you bee nspeaking to political people in regards to Trump. As Trump was quite negative towards the disabled during his campaign as was taht him just oing out on the mouth as they say that he'd bee ndoing or quite real. Was there any idea of his position towards us recently or as of now towards us or what. Obama's adminstration I think was really good towards the disabled adn taht of the vusual that a lot was done for us. Graned a lot was done too as we'd had to speak up about it and things as that , but regardless do think was reeal good towards us. Now with that said of now what is going to be as of this new administration.

I've spoken to disabled individuals in my area of Fairfield county and many were on the fence with regards to their feeligns of Trump as well as t o where things stand as well what will be in regards t oinsurance medicare medicad etc s oa lot to do in protecting ourselves and not let us fall backwards . I think now more then ever we all need to work and stick togetehr to make sure things get done for us. As a matter of fact I'm going to be sending Seantor blumenthal an email of this topic and will let you know as to what he says t ome about it.

Thank you and take care
Elizabeth

Hello, fellow Federationists!
Tomorrow's the day, so a few reminders.
If you would like to practice voting with a phone keypad before going to the polls, call 888-661-6366. You will not need any kind of access code.
If you have any problems voting, a good person to contact in Connecticut is Elanah Sherman at the Office of Protection and Advocacy. Her phone number is 860-297-4322, and her e-mail is Elanah.Sherman at ct.gov.
Our national office has set up a voter hotline number, which is 877-632-1940. It will be available from 7:00 AM until 10:00 PM on November 8. If you encounter any barriers to voting privately and independently, please call and report it. There is also a hashtag, #BlindVoterExperience, on Twitter.
Finally, if you visit http://www.nfb.org you will find on the home page a What's New heading. Below that, you will find links to two surveys about experiences voting. Please choose the one that applies to your situation, and help us to gather data to use in present and future advocacy work.
Good luck tomorrow, and if I can help in any way, let me know.
Let's make our voices heard!
