Hi, Deb and Everyone!

I thought the convention was one of the best we ever had. I was very impressed with Everett Bacon. I think he was one of the best national reps we had thus far. I had a very fruitful conversation with him and he was so responsive. It was a fabulous weekend and the hotel staff was absolutely wonderful. I also enjoyed both of my roommates, Carolyn Dodd and Christine Gountas! Anyway, I spent the rest of the weekend with Carolyn and I’ll be going back home tomorrow. I participated in her swimming aerobics class today and it was a blast! Anyway, take care and say hi to George for me!

It is not just those who serve on the board or a committee, but all the members collectively who made this a convention to be proud of. Although I don’t remember exactly the words our national rep, Everett Bacon said, but I believe the heart of it went something like this: look upon blindness as a positive. Show your community all the things you are capable of and help others facing a similar challenge.
