Subject: [CT-NFB] Information from Chapter meeting

Hi federation friends,
Last evening the central chapter held a call with staff from NEAT. I have

copy and pasted some information we learned about at the meeting that you all might enjoy.

1.	If people wish to know how to reach us these days, here is our contact information:

Steve Famiglietti

Email: steve.famiglietti at oakhillct.org <mailto:steve.famiglietti at oakhillct.org>

Phone 860 286-3100 <tel:860%20286-3100>

Kris Thompson

Adam Kosakowski

Email: Adam.kosakowski at oakhillct.org <mailto:Adam.kosakowski at oakhillct.org>

2.	We publish a newsletter for NEAT news about once a month and sometimes more if needed. If people want to be added to the email list to receive these newsletters through email they can send an email to Samantha at Samantha.marut at oakhillct.org <mailto:Samantha.marut at oakhillct.org> and she will add them to the email list.
3.	People were asking about some games during our meeting, Adam found this link to YouTube
4.	Here is a YouTube channel playlist covering blind accessible iOS games! Accessible games YouTube <https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLSU1VYOSxLf24LmjJsyrY4167cpFaWQME>
5. We are continuing to offer our services during this pandemic through virtual platforms like Zoom or Google hang outs etc. We have been recording webinars for the past several weeks. Here is the link to the NEAT page where you can look at all of the webinars that have been offered in the past and see a list of our upcoming webinars.

7.	If people are attempting to access Facebook through a Windows computer or a Mac computer, my suggestion is to use this link to get to the mobile version of the site because the mobile version is much easier to navigate, everything is in one column and all of the posts are labeled as headings. www.M.facebook.com <http://www.m.facebook.com/>
8.	Here the links for our Adaptive sports and fitness videos on Facebook and YouTube

Adaptive Sports and Fitness Facebook Page <https://www.facebook.com/OakHillAdaptive/>

Please also let everyone know that if they are having difficulties with anything in this pandemic to please reach out to us. If we can help, we will and if we need to get some information for them, we will do the research and get back to them with the information they need.

Sincerely,

 Deb Reed
