[CT-NFB] Fox News interview

Deb,

What awesome and timely news!

Though our rights have been disrespected for tomorrow’s primary in which many of you—and I—can vote, I did use the temporary solution I suggested a week and a half ago. I applied for an overseas ballot from my registrar of voters and asked that it be delivered by e-mail. The justification I gave for trying to use this format of an absentee ballot is that it was a reasonable accommodation of my disability. My registrar and town clerk approved and sent me the ballot. I did have to ask for the fillable version of the PDF, but the clerk found a fillable version and I got it in time. I voted that ballot, writing in my selections for each office, printed it, and mailed it Saturday… Fingers crossed that it is accepted. I don’t know the deadline for asking for these ballots, but you may still be able to do so today. You could drop it off in time at your town’s special ballot box still (as opposed to a mailbox…

I hope this is helpful…

And, again, Deb: awesome job!

Nathanael

Federation family,
I’m very happy to tell you that I was just able to do a zoom interview with political reporter Matt Caron from Fox 61 news. When he tells me if it will air and when I will keep you all posted. Keep up the good fight and send those emails to the governor! Although our civil rights will not be honored for the primary, we still have to fight for November 3 presidential election to be private and independent.

Sincerely,

 Deb Reed
