 Dear Lucia,
We are sending our sympathy on the passing of Betty. May she rest in eternal peace. 
Tom and I were always impressed by the dedication of Bruce and Betty to the NFB. They were examples of heartfelt commitment to others.  Your service to the organization and support of them was always appreciated. They knew they could count on you to "make the crooked paths straight"! 
Although we haven't had contact with Betty for years, we have not forgotten her genuine concern and faithful service.
Our gratitude and prayers for those left behind. Thank you, Betty!

It is with an extremely heavy heart that I have to tell you all that Betty Woodward passed away this morning. For those of you who didn't know Betty, she has been a long-time member of our organization. She helped form the original Danbury Chapter, served in various officer positions in that chapter as well as the Hartford Chapter and on the state level. She worked in our office for a number of years calling businesses for donations. Those of you who know her have many stories of a delightful, well-respected, loving woman who has been very dear to our hearts. At the moment, there is no information on arrangements.
