[CT-NFB] iPad Pro third generation

Deb,

I'm just getting a chance to reply to this now. What another great tool, and as blind people we should use every tool that we reasonably can. Because we want full accessibility to ballots, including absentee ones, without needing to purchase equipment that we may not be able to, our advocacy for provisions for blind voters in S. 1 The For The People Act remains important. People who aren't blind don't need an IPad to vote! And we as blind people shouldn't have to use one unless we make the choice to.

And, indeed, we'd like electronic return of our absentee ballots like members of the military already have.

What a great reminder for all of us to reach out, again, to Senator Blumenthal and Senator Murphy's dedicated staff members as we were requested to a few weeks ago.

Best,
Nathanael

Federation friends,
As I explore my new iPad Pro third generation, I have just learned about a scanning feature
as well as a feature to fill in forms in the notes app. Right away my brain went to the independence and privacy issues we have with absentee ballots. Although this would not solve The issue of the envelope return system here in Connecticut, it seems like another tool for us to use!
