Thank You for Registering for the 2021 National Convention

We are excited that you are attending the largest gathering of blind people. We are stronger together: transforming and unifying our future. Please watch this welcome message from President Riccobono <https://nfb.org/civicrm/mailing/url?u=21502&qid=5504722> and start planning your banquet meal!

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sending helpful details about convention activities, information about how to access the convention from anywhere and everywhere, and tips for making your convention experience fun and empowering. More information can be found at https://nfb.org/convention <https://nfb.org/civicrm/mailing/url?u=21503&qid=5504722> (Spanish language information available soon). Read the recent Braille Monitor article, "The 2021 Convention of the National Federation of the Blind on Track to be Bigger and Better than Ever <https://nfb.org/civicrm/mailing/url?u=21504&qid=5504722> ".

Resources for First-Time Convention Attendees

Is this your first convention or do you need a review of what to expect? We want your first convention to be a space where we grow stronger together with love, hope, and determination.

*	Convention Concierge Service: Let’s connect you with someone who can help break the ice, tap into our network, and answer your questions about national convention. Email rookie at nfb.org <https://nfb.org/civicrm/mailing/url?u=21505&qid=5504722> or drop us a voicemail at 410-659-9314, extension 2020 by June 15 to let us know that you are interested. Please include your name, preferred telephone number, what state you are joining us from, and a few things that you want us to know when matching you with mentors (e.g., life goals, if you are a guide dog user, perhaps a parent of a blind child, if you are a student, what are your hobbies, the types of individuals you would like to meet, etc.).
*	Rookie Roundup: Mark your calendar for the Rookie Roundup meeting scheduled for Tuesday, June 29 at 8:30 p.m. ET. Rookie Roundup is an annual event for attendees to learn more about what to expect at national convention. The Rookie Roundup event details will be provided in the agenda.
*	First Timer's Guide <https://nfb.org/civicrm/mailing/url?u=21506&qid=5504722> : Access more details on what to expect during convention.

Our organization requires a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and we are committed to a safe and welcoming environment. As part of that effort, registration for national convention requires that you agree to the code of conduct. Please read our code of conduct at https://nfb.org/codeofconduct <https://nfb.org/civicrm/mailing/url?u=21510&qid=5504722> and become familiar with the reporting process. Thank you for your commitment to the safety and support of the blind community.

Requests for Accommodations & Access Needs
