Hi, everyone,

I use AIRA for identifying the car and the driver, particularly when I am not at home and want to make sure they know the address I am at.

Once you receive the information within the app with the driver’s name, license plate number, and the type of car they’re driving, you can tell the Aira agent or the Be My Eyes volunteer all that and they’ll look out for you. I hope this helps.

It seems as though that would be much safer than sending a description and license plate of the car since most of us would not be able to see that. How would someone know that it was actually an Uber or a Lyft driver or just someone posing as one. Does anyone know if this issue has been addressed with these companies?
