Hi everyone,
I just finished watching a really nice movie called "For the Left Hand" that was shown tonight over the computer through AARP and unexpectedly spotted an NFBCT member in the movie! The movie was about a man named Norman Malone who has a disability and can only play the piano with his left hand. He lives in Chicago but was invited by the West Hartford Symphony to play a concert with them. The movie shows stories of his life and career as a music teacher and builds up to the big concert in West Hartford. So there he is, playing the piano and then when he finishes, the audience stands up to applause and who is  standing in the front row, right in front of the man's son - it's Mary Silverberg! Talk about a small world...
Sincerely,Noreen
