Please correct me if I?m wrong, but I thought the subsidy agreed-upon for National was $750? The minutes we say $800.

They came to the conclusion that it doesn?t include a true representation of BESB?s clients who may or may not have had problems with their service. They feel we need a voice to express any concerns we may have. CCSU will send out a new survey that will be more inclusive of all BESB clients.

She has graduated from high school and will be attending the Seminary where she will major in Disabled Theology. Currently she is working part time with Julian?s Way, a non-profit, that provides care to the elderly.

Suggestions included donating funds to a scholarship in Steve?s name, planting a tree in his memory at Oak Hill where he worked and lived, and donating money to Fidelco where Steve received his guide dogs. This discussion was tabled until our next meeting so that Pres. Melley can get further information.

Hi, everyone,
Yes, Helen Keller was a remarkable woman and accomplished so much in her life. Helen's teacher was Anne Sullivan Macy and she taught Helen how to speak. My parents and I saw the play in New York way back in about 1957 and it was wonderful! Helen's part was played by Pattie Duke and we all had the honor of meeting Pattie after the play was over. Eventually, a movie was also made of Helen's life and accomplishments and, I believe, a book was written about her as well.
