My diabetic coordinator is the one who spoke with me on how to watch carbs.
She said she could do this, but I would have to speak with the 
dietitian on behalf of watching other matters.
But the most part was how many carbs you are allowed to have per meal.
I am allowed forty five carbs.
they go on your weight and how tall you are.
this is what I am told in Montana.
please ask for a diabetic coordinator to help you out.
Yes my husband and I are both blind
We don't have the sighted help either.
Bug them nag them and do what you need to do.
Don't let them get away with this.
