You have convinced me you are blind but perceive with your third eye. Would you like to be your reader or are you reading braile.

If you are blind, diabetic and cannot speak; how do you jump in your SUV and scoot down the road?

Subject: [Diabetes-talk] Good resource for blind diabetics

Hello,

don't post often to the list, but I have been meaning to do some
hameless self promotion! *smile*

ack in October, the Omaha World Herald (Nebraska's big newspaper)
aunched Live Well Nebraska, a website devoted to health and wellness.
was hired to blog about diabetes and blindness. This platform is
llowing me to reach the public as well as fellow blind people. Even if
ou are not from Nebraska, the website is a great resource, and I am
ttempting to give a voice to diabetics and those who are blind alike.

y blog has a lot of traffic, but it is helpful for me and others when
thers who are diabetic and/or blind respond, creating a diverse
ialogue. Please check me out at livewellnebraska.com and look for
ridgit Kuenning-Pollpeter. I have already discussed how diabetes can
e managed independently, to what it was like as a diabetic child, to my
ost recent blog about the fears of low sugars.

ust go to http://www.livewellnebraska.com and look for the link Meet
he Bloggers, then click on my full name, Bridgit Kuenning-Pollpeter and
ou can find all blogs, past and present, I have written so far.

incerely,
ridgit P
