[Diabetes-talk] Any suggestions???

Hey Gang:

Bern here!

I'm having my first colonoscopy this Monday morning at 9:00 am after we get the kids on their bus in the morning. Bill's taking me down. However, I've got, perhaps, a combined question here. Firstly, the day before the test, Sunday, I'm not allowed to eat any solid food at all that day. Instead, I must drink some awful unforgetable stuff to make me "empty" out, so to speak without too much other graphics. I can also drink water, I believe. I also understand the stuff isn't sugar free either. So, anybody have any suggestions as to how to maintain reasonable numbers? Or, for that matter, whether or not to skip the rapid-acting, (humolog)? and just maintain my night-time Lantus? Anyone done this before, I would think?
