Hello, Jerry,
I know that the blindness community in the States' involvement with 
Prodigy notwithstanding, I think your device would attract more 
customers if it were able to be used with just about any talking meter. 
In Canada, for instance, the Prodigy is not sold because it does not 
have French. Likewise, it is not available at all in Europe because of 
language needs. This limits your product mainly to US customers. What 
if we wore the applicator momentarily on the finger we were testing and 
lined it up with something like the end of the strip? If we do not have 
enough blood on the finger, even proper allignment won't give a true 
reading, so what this is preventing, I am guessing, is smearing of the 
sample by incorrect connection with the strip.
