Well, we don't have walgreens in canada so that's out, and so are some 
of the other things you mentioned but they were mostly things you 
suggested to stay away from.
the monitor isn't for me, at least not yet but for a non diabetic friend.
The company which manufactures my talking glucometer, also manufactures 
a talking blood pressure monitor, and is a canadian company, so I 
rather suspect she might get that one, but it still is good to explore 
as many options as possible.
