[Diabetes-talk] Losing weight

I have a friend who has lost 20 pounds, the lady is a diabetic, where 
she insists if you are not trying to lose weight you are with cancer.
Never hearing this kind of thing before, how off base is she, or is she 
correct in this matter?

she just came from her doctor so doesn't need to ask her doctor.
