I guess I am a bit surprised that they don't think in a month you could 
attend the convention.. especially as  ideally one wants to be more active 
as they can increase their ability.
I know some local supermarkets sale salt free turkey breast in the deli, we 
had to buy for my husband who could not have any iodized salts for his 
cancer treatment a couple years ago.
There are some great combinations of herbs that  aid in salt free, and 
spices that  make  the need for less sugars very tolerable!
