Sounds like a plan, thank you. I thought that one was set, it makes sense.
But it sounds like I may be calling Independence Market for a new meter.
Thank you.

The SET button is the little button in the middle of the row of three. If
batteries aren't the answer, then it sounds like you might need a new meter.

To set the meter, hold the SET button down till the meter says "You're now
in Setting mode". It goes through the things you can set; you change the
parameters using the up- and down-arrow buttons and press the little Set
button again to go to the next parameter. The last one is "Deleting Record
Function". If you don't want to delete all records from memory, just hit the
Set button again and the meter will go through all the parameters you've set
and then shutitself off, saying "Goodbye". If, after you've done this and
the meter still goes haywire, you will probably need a new meter although it
would never hurt tohave someone check to see that you're using the right
strips.

Greetings everyone,

I use the Prodigy Voice glucometer. I have just found that when I test,
rather than giving me a reading after it says “Now Testing,” I will get a
prompt that says “Your Prodigy Meter is now on.” Then it automatically goes
back to the factory settings, I guess, for I’m getting April 24, 2011, and I
have to reset it. I thought maybe this was a problem with batteries, but
this does not appear to be the case. Am I pushing a wrong button somewhere
when I reset the meter? I’m not really sure which one the “set” button is,
believe it or not, as once I finished all the settings, it seemed to just
set automatically. So there are a couple of problems. I hope I don’t have
to get a new one, but I suppose that’s certainly possible. Any feedback
would be most appreciated. Thank you in advance.
