The easiest exercise for most people to do is walking. I walk in the mall in
very hot or very cold weather, and outdoors when the weather permits.
Activity is more important than "exercise"--anything that gets you out of
your chair and gets your blood flowing is helpful, whether it's aerobic or
not. Housework counts if it's strenuous--doing flights of stairs, using the
vacuum cleaner or a hand mop, things like that. If you're ready for
"exercise," pick something you like and do it regularly! Lifting light
weights or doing exercises that use your own weight to build strength helps
lots with balance.
