[Diabetes-Talk] Questions regarding blood sugar and diet

Fruit is good; a great, healthy food. But fruit does have carbs and will
affect BGs. Definitely eat fruits, but keep in mind that fruit is not a
"free" food. Veggies like peppers, celery, cauliflower, broccoli, olives,
nuts and meat with no sauce/breading, etc. don't have carbs and will not
raise BGs.

Hi there, I also have the breaded fish and tater tots.
Where this is once a week if that.
Can you eat foods like beans rice with a tortilla? Especially wheat?
My snack is fruit or popcorn.
If you choose candy dark chocolate is good.
I just found dark hershey kisses.

I also got a turkey breast to put in the crock pot for sandwiches and
salads.
Yes breakfast is good even if it is toast.
Love oatmeal in the winter months especially.
Yes I do a bagel. We like English muffin with egg and sausage.
That is once a week.
I am adding cottage cheese with fruit in it. Oh so good when I was at a
hotel. Nice and cool for a hot day.
I do hope you will take on a bit more fruit so you can go more, and that
does help sugars.
I am proud of you for coming to the list and sharing what you are doing.
I know we can help you.
I am always beeing yelled at by some of the folks on the list, I blow them
off and just keep doing what I am doing.
As long as my doctor and myself know what is happening that is good.
I also use the libra and put a tape around it that I got from amazon.
Do keep drinking water, this really does help the kidneys.
Blessings always wishing you the best.
