But that where type 1 have advantages over er type 2. Not all products are catered towards us. So I will give you a pass this time.but don’t generalize things as they relate to the diabetic world as the type 1 have more better treatment then type 2 when it comes to any of these sort of products. Type 2 have to fight for everything whether that be new insulins, new cmgs or even any other medications that will improve their lives compared to type 1. That is a fact and that was told to me by my endo who sees both type 1 and type 2 diabetics.

Gary, please calm down. I don't think anyone is using words like inferior. It may be that one device or another may be better in certain situations. Everyone's needs are different. When I look at things like insulin pumps, each has different features, some I want and some I don't. When I started, Libre didn't exist. For a long time, hopefully that's changing now, one could not get alarms from the Libre. That was very important to me. I do understand how to get readings from the different devices. That for me is just a preference. But for me, as a type 1, choosing a device that gave me the alarms felt critical. For anyone who may have different needs or circumstances, it's great that there's another product out there. Nothing more, nothing less.

Nothing it’s the fact that people are judging something that they have not tried . these libre product are the best selling cmg products for the type 2 community wher they cant even qualify for dexcom and have tojump through hoop to get hese through the insurance providers . Also they are the more mainstream one overseas compared to dexcom. So its not always the dexcom way or the highway.but there are alternatives and not all can afford the dexcom and have to rely on what works for them.
