Veronica,
You hit the nail on the head. Those are my exact thoughts. When I get various blood sugar values from meters saying anywhere from a blood sugar of 70- 120 it’s very frustrating to decide what to do.  I do cherish being able to at least know approximately where my blood sugar is but as far as letting a pump rely on this information to adjust insulin is a bit scary.  My last Dexcom sensor read 70 after the two hour warm-up and three fingersticks at the same time showed 126, 139, 140. I did calibrate at 140 and did several fingersticks for the next eight hours to make sure.
