The nice thing about pumps is that you can set temporary basals or if you know ahead of time that you're going to exercise, you can just use a different insulin to carb ratio or plenty of other tricks to control the drop. On the other hand, sometimes my glucose levels go up right after exercise and actually drop many hours later. I don't think I've ever disconnected from a pump except when I was swimming.
But I agree with everyone else who has said that this is a good chat to have with those who know you. Good luck.

Gary,
Exercise always drops my BG level drastically. If I know I’m going to do exercise or more than usual activity I’ll have some juice ahead of time or eat something with carbs to boost up my number. Other times I might completely disconnect from my pump about a half hour before exercise.
If you’re dropping low after certain meals and you know what those meals are, consider taking less insulin if you’re using a pump or injections. Ask your doctor about this as well.

Hello I need to ask a question. Its been a bit concerning a few days now.
My glucose levels instead of rising start dropping during either after a lite coffee and a bran muffin with not so many carbs. Or it will happen after a work out or after certain keto meals. It will drop any way from the mid 100 to the low 80's even ttwice in the past two days have had two
cglucos numbers of 68 and 62.
