This applies to iOS and MacOS only but I have to assume Windows and Android offer the same features.

When playing audio on such devices there is a system service called AirPlay that lets you send the audio out to other airplay devices such as HomePod speakers and AppleTV. You can then control the playback and volume with Siri. 

There are also things called Bluetooth transmitters that you can plug into an NLS player and then get the players audio on any Bluetooth enabled headphones or speakers.
