Thanks Chris.
I don't think I have ibooks, so I was using Safari, and I don't see 
accessibility in the table of contents.  But perhaps I need to scroll.
My friend showed me how to set typing, at least in notes, so maybe now it 
will work.
I'll check out applevis, too.
